Starting a new U7 team? We’ll help you get going!
Hambleton & Richmondshire Junior Football League is delighted to announce a new initiative to support clubs introducing new U7 teams.
For any new U7 sides registered with the league from Friday 16 October 2026, we’ll provide a FREE equipment starter pack to help get your team up and running!
What’s included in your starter pack?
Each eligible new U7 team will receive:
- ⚽ 10 footballs
- 🎒 1 ball bag
- 🔶 50 training cones
- 👕 2 packs of training bibs (12 bibs in total)
- 🩹 1 first aid kit
Everything you need to help get your new team started!
Why join our U7 league?
Our U7 programme is all about giving young players the best possible introduction to grassroots football.
- Age-appropriate football
- Fun, friendly central venue mornings
- Opportunities to develop confidence and skills
- A positive environment for players and coaches
- Supporting clubs to grow from the youngest age groups
We want to see more children playing football, making friends, developing their skills and, most importantly, enjoying the game!
How to claim your starter pack
Once your new U7 side has been added to the league registration portal, your club secretary should contact Mandy, our League Registration Officer – registrations@hrjfl.org.uk
We’ll then arrange delivery of your equipment starter pack.
Whether you’re an existing club looking to introduce a new U7 side or considering expanding your junior section, we’d love to hear from you!
Starter packs are subject to league eligibility criteria.
